Robert Erwin, age 84, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, in St. George, Utah. He was born on April 1, 1942, in Afton, Wyoming, to Arvel Carl Erwin and Glenna Eunice Erwin.
Robert married the love of his life, Susan Decker, on July 11, 1963. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and lasting memories.
Robert was a dedicated employee who retired from General Distributing after 29½ years of service as a Fleet Manager. He took great pride in his work and was respected by his colleagues for his reliability and commitment.
In his free time, Robert enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, and working on puzzles. He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life and especially cherished the friendships he formed over the years. While living in Kanab, Utah, he developed close bonds with his dear neighbors and friends, Karen and Keigan Long, and Tim and Polly Lewis, whose friendship meant a great deal to him.
Robert's greatest joy was his family. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his kind heart, and the love he shared with those around him.
He is survived by his sister, Marie Turner; his sons, Robert (Kissley) Erwin, Brad Erwin, and Tracy (Kami) Erwin; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvel Carl Erwin and Glenna Eunice Erwin; his beloved wife, Susan Erwin; his sister, Carlena Bergman; and his granddaughter, Bailie Erwin.
Though he will be deeply missed, Robert's legacy of love, dedication, and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
