Robert Andrew Hunt
"POPS"
1937-2008
Our beloved father passed away peacefully on December 16, 2008.
Dad was the oldest of three children born to Andrew George, and Ruth Ardell Whitaker Hunt. Dad was born on June 19, 1937 in Pocatello, ID. He married Marian Delcrew June 24, 1956. They raised their four children in Livermore, California and Cache Valley Utah. Dad and Mom were later divorced, but have remained close friends.
Dad's greatest joy was spending time with his family, extended and immediate. He especially loved visiting with his grandchildren and he is so proud of each of them. He also enjoyed many years working alongside his three sons and his own father as brick masons. Dad loved to work hard at all he did.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served in many callings through his life. He loved the families he home taught, and the home teaching companions he had. Dad had the opportunity to serve a service mission in the Logan Temple. Dad loved the temple and has a firm testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He felt like his life was richly blessed.
Bob is survived by our Mother, Marian Paul; children, John (Faye), Concord CA, Andy (Kim) Oakley CA, Richard Brentwood CA, and Robyne (Shane) London of Sandy UT; twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; Also survived by a sister, Patricia (Jerry) Jackman, Salt Lake City, and a brother, Randy (Bonnie) of Farmington UT, and by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
