Robert Joseph Greer

Robert Joseph Greer, M.D., (Bob) passed away, due to natural causes on May 12th, 2023, at his house in Sandy, UT, at the age of 91. He was born on December 5th, 1931, and adopted to Samuel and Mable Greer. He was married to Barbara Dianne Allison on June 11th, 1956.
Bob loved gardening, hunting, winemaking, crossword puzzles, woodworking, reading novels, playing tennis, golf, and chess, skiing, and watching golf, tennis, and his favorite sports teams (UoU, UW, Jazz, and Packers).
Bob graduated from Billings HS (1949), University of Washington School of Medicine (1956), and University of Utah in Psychiatry where he performed his internship (1962). He worked for the Salt Lake City Metal Health Center and retired after 30 years to open his own private psychiatry practice.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara (87), his children Bruce Greer (66), Andrea Love (61), and Michael Greer (50), his five grandchildren, James Love (42), Alea Greer (18), Miles Greer (16), Liam Greer (10), and Ella Greer (6), his great grandson Neo Love (4), and his daughters-in-law Angie Greer (47) and Danielle Love (42).
He is preceded by his parents Samuel and Mable Greer, his daughter Colleen D. Greer, and son-in-law Kevin Love.
