Robert (Bob) Dean Lemone passed away at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 5, 2025, at the age of 73. Bob was born on November 11, 1951, in Portland, Oregon to Marvin Arthur Lemone and Dorthy Hodges Lemone.
Bob attended Benson High School in Portland, where he developed a lifelong passion for designing and building furniture. He continued his education at the Church College of Hawaii (now BYU-Hawaii), earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
A skilled craftsman, Bob began his career at Fetzer's Cabinets before starting his own business, creating custom furniture for local businesses. He later joined the construction department at LDS Hospital, where he continued his craft by building furniture for the hospital.
Bob had a deep appreciation for nature and took pride in his yard, especially growing pumpkins and tomatoes. He found joy spending time on the patio overlooking lower Millcreek, watching the ducks and geese that frequented his backyard. Bob also loved movies and cherished visits to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Claudia Carmichael Lemone; his brother Lynn (Tonya) Lemone; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Dorthy, and his older brother, Larry.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Park Meadows Ward,546 East Millcreek Way, South Salt Lake City, UT 84106.
