Robert Mcdonald

Robert John McDonald, a father of 5 and grandfather of 6 (soon to be 7) passed away from diabetic complications at the age of 56 on September 11th, 2022. He spent his life valuing the time he got to spend with his family and fought hard to see his life through. Those who knew him knew him as a fighter and a survivor. They knew him as someone who could face the harsh conditions of life and, with the support of his loved ones, keep fighting.
Robert was born September 15th, 1965, to John and Colleen McDonald. During his life, he enjoyed activities that would bring his family together, including reunions, holiday activities, birthdays and family events, and etc. He was often seen trying to combat his struggles with humor and enjoyed putting a smile on loved ones faces. He greatly valued being with and engaging with the people he cared for.
Robert is survived by his parents, 3 siblings, 4 living children, and 6 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his eldest son, Christopher McDonald, who joins him now in his next chapter.
Please join us in honoring Robert on Friday, September 16th, at the West Jordan River Stake Center: 1380 West 6785 South, West Jordan, UT. His viewing will be held at 1pm and the funeral services following this at 2 PM.
