Robert Lamoyne Sweeten

Dr. Robert L. Sweeten passed away at his home on September 1, 2012 at the age of 96. He was born February 23, 1916 in Holbrook, Idaho, the fourth child of ten, born to Warren Hugh and Lila Howard Sweeten. He married his beautiful and cherished Phyllis Karpowitz on November 22, 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Robert had a great desire to serve God. He served four missions, three of them with his eternal companion.

Our devoted and handsome father lived a full and multi-faceted life. Dad's talents, perfectionism, and work ethic were evident in everything he did. Dad excelled in dentistry, artwork, singing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and building family gathering places (Mom dreamed it and Dad built it).
