Robert Troyer, a beloved member of his family and community, passed away on August 23, 2025, at the Sandy Rehabilitation Center at the age of 66. Born on the vibrant day of April 16, 1959, in Boulder, Colorado, Robert spent most of his life in Utah, where he built a legacy characterized by love, kindness, and an unwavering work ethic.

Robert was the cherished son of Lee S. Troyer and Mamie Zordel, who instilled in him values that shaped his life. He grew up along side of his brothers Kevin & Alan Troyer, and his sister Barbara Troyer. Throughout his journey, Robert experienced love in many forms; he was married twice, first to Dianna Lynn Troyer and later to Linda Ortiz, but at the time of his passing, he was a single man.

He was a devoted father to two sons, Dennis L. Troyer and Robert M. Troyer, who carry on his spirit and resilience. Robert also took immense joy in being a grandfather, leaving behind a legacy through his grandchildren: Damian L. Troyer, Cayla A. Troyer, Sonja S. Troyer, Dennis Jr. Troyer, Anna Troyer, and Bree Troyer. His love for them was evident in the precious time spent together, often filled with laughter and cherished memories.

An avid hiker, Robert found solace in nature and delighted in exploring the great outdoors. His adventures were often shared with family members, making those experiences even more special and memorable. A dedicated truck driver throughout his life, Robert was known for his remarkable work ethic, which earned him the respect and admiration of many.

Beyond his family ties, Robert was surrounded by devoted friends, including Bisket and Sammy Stone, who supported him as caregivers and best friends throughout his life. His generous spirit and kind heart made a lasting impression on everyone he met, and his positive outlook on life served as an inspiration to many.
