Born on June 30, 1935, in Boston Massachusetts to Evelyn Maude Cummings and Emery JF Parsons. Roberta lived a long life filled with devotion to her family and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
She was a loving mother to her children: Christine Lavallee, Robert Spaw, Joe Ramirez, Tony Ramirez and Terry Ramirez. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren- Patrick Lavallee, Rose Lavallee, Crystal Lavallee, Tiffany Brooks and Joan Spaw- and her fourteen great- grandchildren as well as her 3 Great Great- Grandchildren. Known as "Honey" or "Pete", Roberta had a lifelong love for animals. She held a special fondness for wolves, huskies, cardinals, and blue jays. One of her favorite daily rituals was feeding squirrels from her balcony-a quiet moment that brought her peace and connection to the world around her. She would travel with her husband state to state on his Honda Goldwing, including the west coast, Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon.
The holidays were especially meaningful to Roberta. Thanksgiving and Christmas were times she treasured deeply. She delighted in the scents of holiday cooking, decorating Christmas trees, and family visits. These celebrations were among the most joyful moments of her life.
Roberta also found comfort in classic entertainment. She was an avid fan of old western films, especially films with John Wayne, Charles Bronson, Charlton Heston and Clint Eastwood, and enjoyed watching Hallmark and ION channel shows year-round. Even during summer months, Christmas movies remained a source of happiness for her.
