Roberto Jimenez

September 23, 1945 — August 21, 2022

Roberto Jimenez was born on September 23, 1945, in Sewell, Chile. God’s angels took him on August 21, 2022, after a long battle with Fahr’s Disease.
Son of Roberto Hernán Jimenez and Amanda Pinto.
Roberto met the love of his life, Mary Irene Parker, in Los Angeles, California where they started their life together and were married and sealed for time and eternity. Together they had four beautiful children; Loreto, Rodrigo, Cristina & Susana. They later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where they settled as a family.
Roberto was a businessman, from being a photographer and later having a driving school in Los Angeles, to then studying and graduating with honors as an auto mechanic at the SLCC and the Ford Motor Company in Utah. He owned his own auto mechanic shop and was well known and respected in the community.
His favorite things to do were hunting, fishing, and camping. Enjoying the outdoors was his passion. He was a hunter at heart and he simply found joy surrounded by nature, creating memories and laughing with family and friends.
Roberto loved his wife Irene and she was truly the only one who could understand him when he lost his speech completely. They were undoubtedly connected at heart forming a complete unity.
Roberto is preceded in death by his parents Roberto and Amanda, and his sisters Angélica and Patricia.
Roberto is survived by his wife Irene Jimenez, his children Loreto (Patrick) Ornelas, Rodrigo (Rachel) Jimenez, Cristina (Jerry) Silva, and Susana (Cody) Rampton; and his siblings Mónica and Claudia, and all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
