Rocky Lee Roe, 54, passed away on April 26, 2025, in Kearns, Utah. He was born on December 21, 1970, in Kearns, Utah, to Gary and Margo Roe.
Rocky took pride in all his work in multiple roles at Kennecott Utah Copper. He also talked fondly of his work at Interstate Brick. He took joyous pride in raising his two daughters, Roesmarie and Shanell, and his son Johnny. Rocky loved working on model cars, as well as working on and building vehicles: most notable is The Orange Truck. If he wasn’t kicked back in a lawn chair, he was in the garage.
Rocky loved guns and hunting, or even just going out shooting. He enjoyed camping and being around fire, which meant he did a lot of four-wheeling and three-wheeling. And if he wasn’t doing that, Rocky was catchin’ a fish. The only thing he loved more than all those hobbies and good times was teaching his son and daughters all about it.
You should have been there for the deer hunt that ended with the Dum-Dum Skunk! He drank, he smoked, he cussed. Rocky was a hell of a man who would say “fuck you!”, give you the middle finger, and offer a beer and a damn good laugh all at once. He once said to put him in the coffin face down so everyone can “KISS MY ASS!”
He is survived by the mother of his children, Carrie, their daughters Roesmarie and Sharelle, their son Johnny, and grandson Conner. Rocky is also survived by his mother Margo, his brother Mike, his sisters Sheila and Michelle, and by his many nieces and nephews.
Rocky is preceded in death by his father, Gary, his siblings Lee, Louwana, and Kerrie, and by grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
