Ronald Cowdell

Ronald Cowdell of Millcreek, Utah passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025 from age related issues. Ron was born on December 22, 1931 in Sandy, Utah, and retired from the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Department on January 1, 1996 after thirty years of service. He worked security at Raytheon from March 28, 1979, until he retired after twenty-five years.

Ron married Virginia Mae Lenon in Blackfoot, Idaho on October 18, 1951. Virginia preceded Ron in death on May 28, 2022. Ron and Virginia had many adventures over the 71 years they were together. They took road trips around the intermountain west and enjoyed time at their beloved cabin in Manila, Utah. Here, they had good times with their friends and family, hunting and fishing.
