Ronald Linn Moss

Ronald Linn Moss, age 54, passed away June 30, 2023 at his home in Logan, UT. He was born January 12th, 1969, in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin to Ronald S. and Linda N. Moss. He attended East High School in West Bend, WI and graduated in 1987. Ron relocated to Utah, married, then moved to Wyoming where his son Spencer was born. He attended Northern Wyoming Community College, Gillette Campus and earned his Certificate of Completion in Diesel & Power Controls Technology in 1992 and his Associate of Applied Science in 1993. On June 10th, 2000, Ron married Tori Woodard on her family ranch in Miles City, MT.
The most important thing in Ronnie’s life was his family and his dogs. He was an avid hunter and loved training his dogs and hunting pheasants in North Dakota with them. He also loved fishing, camping, golfing and all the activities of an outdoor soul especially with family and friends. Ronnie’s most prized possession besides family heirlooms and antiques was his Harley Davidson Heritage, nostalgia model, motorcycle. He treasured the times riding with his wife and friends, exploring the backroads and the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Ron was a huge football fan, especially of the Green Bay Packers. He always said if you’re born in Wisconsin, you’re born a Packer fan. He was even lucky enough to own a share of Packer stock. Ron was an avid reader and shared that love with several people close to him.
Ron (Ronnie) is survived by his wife Tori Moss, son Spencer (Tiffany, Harper) Moss of Layton, UT, father Ronald S. Moss and mother Linda N. Moss of Logan, UT, sister Mary Lou (Zane) Lawson of Grand Junction, CO, sister Lori (Brent, Sydney) Douglas of Eden, UT, nephew Tyrel (Katherine, Luciana, Lillian) Lawson, niece Jennifer Moss, Mother-in-law Jimi Lou, Father-in-Law Gary and Brother-in-Law Tate Woodard, all of Decatur, TX and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. He is also survived by his 4-legged furry family members Tracer, Weimaraner, Rex, Weimaraner, Isabella (Baby Girl) rescue kitten.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents William and Mary Noffsinger, paternal grandparents Clyde S. and Thelma Moss, and many extended family members, and several special 4-legged furry family members (most recently Tryton, Ben, Penelope).
Graveside services will be on Saturday, July 8th at 11:00 am at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary and Cemetery, 1640 E. Lakeview Dr., Bountiful UT.
Luncheon will be provided by the Young Ward Relief Society 2pm at 2394 W 2200 S, College Ward, UT.
