Ronald Myron Nelson, age 73, passed away May 30, 2008 in Murray, Utah. Born June 28, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Fredrick and Alta LaVerle Workman Nelson. Ron will be missed by all those who had the good fortune to know him, including his family, friends, and many acquaintances.
Survived by his daughter Nicole (Danny) Oakden; daughter, Bobbi; sons, Mike, Kevin, Jim; sister, LaVerle Robbin; brothers, Bill (Linda) Nelson, Jack (Connie) Nelson, Carl Ranck; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Evans Ranck.
Graveside service and Interment will be held on Wednesday June 4, 2008, 11:00am at the Utah Veteran Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Legion Post 112 Sub for Santa fund.
