Ronald Jack Sudweeks

Ronald was a loving husband and father.

Ron was born October 23, 1937, in Salt Lake City Utah, to Jack and Lucille Sudweeks.

He was extremely talented with many skills and the ability to fix almost everything. He freely gave his time and talents to anyone in need.

Ron met the love of his life Doris on a blind date in 1959. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on February 16, 1961. He worked hard caring for his wife and children, especially helping Doris through her lifetime of physical hardships and trials. He made a good life for his family with the activities and hobbies that he found that could involve everyone in the family. Like model trains, remote control boats, puzzles, etc.

He served many years as the financial clerk in his ward.

He passed quietly in his sleep after several years dealing with the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease, and will be missed.

Ron is survived by his wife Doris, sons: Paul (Marilyn) and David (Coreena), 14 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing Friday June 7, 2024, from 6 to 8 PM at the Taylorsville 9^th Ward located at 2030 West Chateau Avenue, Taylorsville Utah

A short viewing will also be held Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM. Services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Taylorsville 9^th Ward located at 2030 West Chateau Avenue, Taylorsville Utah.

Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah.
