RoseAnn Ferris Smith

RoseAnn (Ferris) Smith passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026. She was born in Payson, Utah, on January 8, 1944. She married Marion (Pa) Smith on June 17, 1967. They made their home in West Valley City, where they raised their two children.

RoseAnn was a stay-at-home mom. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She was an avid Utah Jazz fan, and all the grandchildren learned some choice words when watching the games with Grandma.

RoseAnn is survived by her son Shane (Kelly) Smith; daughter Sunnie (Ryan) Renzello; nine grandchildren, Tristian (Paige) Smith, Ethan (Hope) Smith, Hayden (Hallie) Smith, Kililan (YaYa) (Clear) Smith, Hunter (Kassidy) Renzello, Zowie (Tyson) Carter, Braylee (Briar) Renzello, Makinley (Nin) Renzello, Chase (Kelsey) Gallegos; and nine great-grandchildren, Nyla, Malcom, MacLaine, Maxine, RoseAnn, Styles, Davie, and Banks.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband (Pa), and her sisters Geraldine, Toni, and Juli Ann.

We love you dearly, and we will miss you greatly until we meet again.

You may visit with the family at a viewing on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at Camp Williams (Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park), 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
