Rosemarie Ethel Herem

May 16, 1964 — February 19, 2010

Valiant Sister, Aunt, and Disciple

Rosemarie Ethel Herem returned home to her Heavenly Father, February 19, 2010. Her passing was the culmination of a life well lived. Rosemarie was the sixth of seven children born to Clarence Oliver and Sarah Monk Kennison Herem. She had the benefit of receiving a blessing from Apostle Thomas S. Monson prior to her birth, a prophecy that guided her throughout her life. Born in Billings, MT, on May 16, 1964, her life demonstrated superior musical aptitude, and courage and clarity as a gifted teacher. She was refined in her youth on the family ranch in Absarokee, MT; and in her adult life at Ricks College; BYU, Provo; and Portland State University. She held an MBA degree, with expertise in accounting and finance. A lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served a full-time mission to Lima Peru North, becoming fluent in Spanish and the language of the Spirit. She served in ward Relief Society presidencies and in a stake Young Women presidency; in Primary, and as a Gospel Doctrine and early morning Seminary instructor. Rosemarie was an accomplished solo and choral vocalist. Her professional life included Sprint Communications, Franklin Covey, and ADP. She was a superb presenter of Stephen Covey's "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People." Rosemarie is survived by five siblings: Larry (Connie) Herem, Ann (Gordon) Parker, Norman (Mychelle) Herem, Beverly and Loretta Herem; Archie Schott; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Alice Schott, and her parents.
