Ruby Hess Henderson passed away peacefully September 10, 2008. She was born December 17, 1918 in Fielding, Utah to Alice Tovey and James Henry Hess. She married Howard Donald Henderson September 7, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She was known for her doll making, excellent hand dipped chocolates, and quilts. She served faithfully in many callings for the LDS church.

Survived by her children, LeeAnn, Clay (Roberta), Sally, Jim (Kathy), Don (Wanda), and Gary (Mindy); 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 10 great great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nola, and Myrt; 1 brother, Earl (Ila).

Preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sisters, LaRue, and Zelda; 2 brothers, Willis, and Lee.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 15, 2008 at 12 noon at the Butler 18th Ward, 6600 South Greenfield Way (1800 East), where friends may visit with the family from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
