Ruth Call Bullard passed away October 21, 2009 at age 92 due to complications of old age. Born to Anson Vasco Call III and Mary McGavin February 17, 1917 in Idaho Falls, ID she was raised in Afton, WY and then moved to Citrus Heights, CA. She married Clarence L. Bullard June 27, 1934 in Auburn CA. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple Feb 29, 1952 to their 4 children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence and her infant daughter Betty, and 4 of her siblings. She is survived by her two brothers, Donald James Call and Malcolm Anson Call, her three living children Dennis D. Bullard(Carol) of Sebastopol, CA, Susan B. Thompson, SLC, UT and Carolyn B. Boogaard (Craig), Sandy, UT and her 55 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She served faithfully in numerous branch and ward positions and taught Seminary for 4 years. She was a beautiful seamstress and owned a yardage and yarn shop for 21 years in Lakeport, California. She loved doing geneology and temple work. She will be missed for her wry sense of humor and her kindness.
A graveside service will be held in the Sylvan Cementary,Citrus Heights, CA on Saturday Oct 24, 2009 at 9:00 A.M. Online condolences to the family may be sent at: www.holbrookmortuary.com
