Ruth was born Nov. 28, 1918 in Walters Minnesota to Charles and Ethel Mary Cook Anderson. She left this life to continue her eternal progression May 15, 2013. Ruth’s Mother died in an auto accident when she was a baby. She was raised by her grandmother and other caring relatives.
Ruth married Russell Frandsen on April 26, 1941. He preceded her in death July 5, 1994. They joined the LDS church in St. Paul MN. Mom served faithfully in all of her many callings. She truly knew her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mom loved family history, letter and journal writing, organizing files, reading, walking, gardening, and family activities. She read to her children when they were young.
Survived by: children, Mary Larsen, Bonnie and Terry Forward, Robert Frandsen, Debra and Steven Carman; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; four nieces and their families. She was preceded in death by: her husband Russell; son James; son-in-law Stephen Larsen and grandson Jason Bigelow, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 22, at the Spencer 4th Ward, 8181 W 3320 S, Magna. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Road, and 1 hour prior to services at the ward. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates.
