Ruth Grupper Mcclimek

Ruth Grupper McClimek, 88, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Ruth was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 9, 1925 to Louis and Ethel Grupper. When Ruth was 9 years old she moved to Utah with her parents and sister Bertha. Ruth married John McClimek on October 11, 1946 at Casslake, Minnesota.

Ruth was a devoted loving mother to her three daughters and many grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending her time with family for whom she gave her ALL! She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Ruth is survived by three daughters, Patsy (Larry) Greenwood of Holladay, Utah; Sharon (John) Leonard of Lewiston, Idaho; Shirley (Ed) Moyer of Sandy, Utah; 8 grandchildren, Debbie, Joyce, Natalie, Scott, Shane, Phillip, Bryan, & Tiffany; 23 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Mc Climek; sister, Bertha Adams; brother-in-law, Robert Adams; and great-grandson, Kaleb Edward Downs.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South.
