Our amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away very suddenly on a family vacation in Florida. Ryan was born February 24, 1974 in Midvale, Utah to Kenneth Elden Day and Debra (Garner) Day, Ryan loved where he grew up, he spent countless hours talking about and driving his family around his old neighborhood. His wife and 2 daughters could probably name every person and which house they used to live in. Ryan graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1992; he took great pride in being a Husky. Ryan was the proud co-owner of Custom Carport Designs with his brother Austin, a company they inherited from their father Ken. Ryan was an extremely hard worker, he was very proud of the work he did and would always point out any carport or steel structure he had built.
Ryan met his wife Misty (Peterson) in 1998, they later got married in 2002 and had 2 amazing daughters, Brynn Avi and Delaney Ryan. Ryan was all about being a husband and father, his favorite times were when he was with his family. Ryan's favorite things to do with his family were to travel; going cruising; spending every summer in San Diego and his yearly trips to Red Rocks, Colorado to see his favorite band play.
Ryan had the most amazing quick-witted humor--he would come up with some of the funniest things to say. Ryan had more friends than most people, he had a special light that everyone gravitated towards--little kids loved him. He would do anything for anybody and everyone knew they could count on Ryan.
Ryan is survived by his wife Misty (Peterson) Day, his 2 daughters, Brynn Avi Day and Delaney Ryan Day, his mother Debra (Garner) Day, his sister Courtney (Beau) Carlson, his brother Austin (Amy) Day, his sister Brittany (Eric) Wilkinson, and his sister Morgan (Toni) Burdi, his many nieces and nephews and countless friends. He was proceeded in death by his father Kenneth Elden Day.
We will never recover from the huge loss of Ryan, it leaves a huge void in our hearts and lives. We all love you so much RKD!
