Ryan Kent Tipsword

Ryan Kent Tipsword passed away April 5, 2009 at his home in Park City, Utah. Ryan was born in Littleton, Colorado on December 2, 1982.

A 2001 graduate of Olympus High School, Ryan lived life BIG. He packed more into 26 years than most people fit into 86. His love for life and people flowed into his work in the travel and hospitality industry, making memories for multitudes of vacationers. Ryan longed to be with his friends and family at Alta in winter, Lake Powell in summer and on any golf course, anytime.

Ryan never knew a stranger. His approachability, fun good nature, kind-heartedness, sensitivity, compassion and fearlessness brought others close to him. Within his large family, a generation of cousins idolize him for his kindness, ability to relate and a wonderful gift to bring fun to any occasion.

Ryan loved his family very much and always put them before himself. He is survived by his daughter, Ava Marie Tipsword; father, Stephen (Donna) Tipsword; mother, Ann (Jim) Sumner; brother, Brandon Tipsword; step-sister, Megan Gertz; grandparents, Ron and Virgene Stricklett, and Patricia Snider; two nieces Jaelyn and Kaylee Tipsword; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and hundreds of friends nationwide a
