S. Lance Harris, 46, passed away on July 19, 2025, in Kamas, Utah. He left this world surrounded by the mountains he loved, living life the way he always had—with energy, heart, and a deep connection to the world around him.
Lance enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, and camping. He found peace in nature, freedom on a board, and joy in the simple things: a good trail, a campfire, and time spent with the people (and dogs) he loved most. His loyal companions, Hank and Bandit, were never far from his side, and neither were his unforgettable dance moves—terrible by most standards, but full of life, laughter, and charm.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brandi; his two children, Emerald and Miles, whom he adored; and a wide circle of friends who became family over the years—people drawn to Lance’s loyalty, humor, and adventurous spirit.
Lance will be missed more than words can express. He had a rare gift for making people feel at ease and for turning ordinary days into lasting memories. His presence brought energy to every room and comfort to every silence. Though his time was far too short, the impact he made will be felt for years to come.
A celebration of Lance’s life will be held soon; details will be shared with family and friends in the coming days. Until then, we remember him by living the way he did. He will be loved and missed beyond measure.
