Sally Faulkner Cole

Sally Faulkner Cole was born 5 Aug 1927 in Asheville, NC, the daughter of Gudrun Boye and Lester W. Faulkner, Sr. To them were born: Lester W. Jr., Eleanor F. Wightman, Thomas Graham, Sally, Alice F. Bartholomew and Richard B. Faulkner.

Sally lived the first 19 years of her life in and around Hollywood, FL where she and her family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many church positions throughout her life. She graduated from South Broward High and attended BYU. Upon arriving in Provo in 1946 she worked for the telephone company as supervisor and trainer.

Sally married Walter N. Cole in 1949 and they were parents of: Allen M., Renee' Cole Beyer, Paul A. and Brian A. Cole. She worked as a nurse for Dr. Iliff Jeffery, did home health care and in later years worked for the Forest Service. She was an avid genealogist and poet.
