Scott A. Marshall was born December 5, 1963 in Salt Lake City, UT to Earl and Thelma "Tillie" Marshall. He was called back to heaven to be with his dad on September 23, 2009 following complications from surgery. He graduated from Granite High School in 1982.
Scott's mom called him her "lifesaver." They had a special bond and he spent countless hours with her. His passions were his wife, children, golf and of course the Chicago Bears. He was such a strong, sweet man. He had a wonderful sense of humor and had a funny saying or comment for every occasion. He made friends easily and maintained many lifelong friendships.
Scott married Wendy Lindquist (later divorced). They had two beautiful children Tisha and Tyler. He was so happy to be reunited with Tyler the last year and a half of his life.
Scott then married Michelle Johnson (later divorced). They had one beautiful daughter Alicia. He was always so proud of her accomplishments and enjoyed every precious moment he had with her. He always wanted so much for her and was so happy about her ambition to go to college.
Scott finally found the love of his life, Stacie Erwin. They were married on June 26, 2005. He welcomed her daughter, Ariana, with open arms and was the dad she always wanted. He was so good to her and they loved each other very much. Scott was so supportive of Stacie in everything she wanted to do. He stood behind her decision to quit her job to be a stay-at-home mom and her venture into photography. He lost his job five months ago which turned out to be a blessing. This enabled him to spend the rest of his life at home enjoying his family and during this time he was blessed with a new baby son. This also helped improve his golf game, he played the best golf of his life this summer. Scott and Stacie were blessed with two beautiful children, Isabelle "Izzy" and Brock. Scott's special nicknames for these two were "Crazed" and "Tuffsguy". Izzy knows that "Daddy O" has gone to heaven to be with Grandpa. Ariana has promised to tell the little ones about Dad and to remind them that Dad loved to tease, and joke around, and that the Chicago Bears are "The Best Team Ever!" Baby Brock will always be reminded that he had the best daddy in the world, and we think Brock will remind us of Scott in his looks and actions.
He is survived by his wife, Stacie, his children Tisha, Tyler, Alicia, Ariana, Izzy, Brock and his faithful dog Jexi. His mother Tillie; brothers Emery and Eddie Walter, and Randall Marshall; sisters Kathy Iverson , Robin Marshall, special uncle Keith Marshall, multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends who loved and respected him. He will be missed by so many people.
He was preceded in death by his father Earl and sister Shellie.
