Shannon Marie Snyder

Shannon Marie Snyder, age 46, passed away on May 10, 2026 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on July 30, 1979 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Carol and Dan Snyder.

Shannon was known for her kind , thoughtful and willingness to help the world. She loved all animals and since she was born she would take in any animal she would see, if her parents let her. She came out the womb dancing . She would dance like no one was watching . She absolutely adored all of her family. 

She came to Utah to complete Job Corp. She was bubbly and always sharing with the biggest smile and would give more than she would receive.

She gave birth to twins on her birthday. Her happiest days were taking care of her babies.

Shannon is survived by her children, Zach, Daniel, Aiden, Anesa and Aniko; their father, Bob Strang and his children, Jared, Levi, Tausha and Kenyon.

Her parents: Daniel Snyder and Carol Walbrecht.

Her siblings: Tisha, Danielle, Mathew, Sloan and Mason.

Her step parents, Sandy Snyder and her children; Charles Walbrecht and his children.

Aunt Kelly and Aunt Sheri.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonard & Edna Hovey, C.J. Snyder, Janice Snyder, Leonard Stone and Betty Madsen; her best friend, Mellissa Ortega and also Billy Crosgrove, who was like a brother.
