Sharon Thelma Fisher Dennis

December 12, 1945 — June 23, 2010

Sharon Thelma Fisher Dennis, our precious wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend, passed away on June 23, 2010. Sharon was born on December 12, 1945 to Walter Fisher and Myrtle Hadley Hauser.

She grew up in the Salt Lake area and graduated from Granite High School in 1965. Sharon married Clifford L. Eccles (later divorced). They had three children together; Michael, Heidi and Robert. She married Richard K. Dennis on May 1, 1978.

Sharon worked at the Utah State Board of Regents Utah Higher Education Assitance Authority as an Officer. A place where her "girls" became a very special part of her family. She retired in 2005, after 17 years of employment. She was a truly wonderful wife, mother and grandmother; always willing to sacrifice for all of our good. Her children were foremost in her thoughts and she cherished her role as their mother. Sharon encouraged her children and grandchildren to pursue a variety of interests and develop their talents, and she delighted in their achievements.

In addition to the love she had in being with her family, Sharon loved her jammies (often declaring "let's have a jammie day"). She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking and traveling.

Sharon is survived by her cherished husband, Richard K. Dennis; her children, Heidi (Jim) Warren and Robert Eccles; step-daughter, Jamie Hancock; her mother, Myrtle Hauser; her sisters, Pat Meyers and Debbie (John) Martin; her brothers, Glenn (Annette), Mark and Craig Hauser; her nine grandchildren, Brittany, Jordan, Conor, Chylee, Riley, Rian, Morgan, Dillon and Destiny. Sharon was preceded in death by her father and her son, Michael.
