Sharon Stevenson

Salt Lake City, UT - Sharon "Nielsen" Stevenson passed away on June 1, 2026. Born on February 18, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the daughter of Byron T. Nelson and Edith "Williams" Nielsen.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. On May 25, 1956, she married John Brigham Stevenson, with whom she shared a lifelong marriage that lasted until John's passing on March 2, 2025. Together, they raised two children, Cindee and Mark.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Edith Nielsen, two sons, Danny and John. Her sister, Joyce, and two brothers, Don and Thomas.

Sharon is survived by her children, Cindee and Mark, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
