Shelden Reid Peck

Shelden Reid Peck passed away on February 27, 2023. He was born on July 31, 1938 in Highland, Utah to Malissa Elma Newburn and Stanley Peck. He married Shirley Jean Strobelt on October 2, 1976 in Costa Mesa, California.
Shelden along with his dear wife did everything together but their favorite things were shopping (all the clerks in their favorite stores knew them by their first names), and dancing. They knew how to dance every kind of ballroom dance there was. Shelden served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1963. He spent much of that time in Germany.
He is survived by his 3 sons, Gregory, Richard, and David along with a grandson Matthew Bradley Peck. His siblings; Tony (Lorraine) Peck, Deanna (Reese) Corbridge, Milo (Marian) Peck, Matha (Sterling) Francom, J.R. (Carol) Peck, Shannon (Dennis) Poulsen. He is preceded in death by his sweetheart Shirley; his parents, 2 brothers Stanley and Ray Peck, and one sister Elaine Christiansen (Dwayne).
Services will be held for Shelden at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 6253 West 6200 South in Kearns, Utah on Friday, March 10, 2023. Services will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment will then follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan.
