Shelley Ann Sparks

Shelley Ann Sparks, 76, passed away in the company of her family on August 6, 2026. She was a loved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Shelley was born in Salt Lake City on October 4, 1950 to Waldemar P. and Thelma (White) Arlt. She attended Skyline High School where she graduated in 1969. In 1974, she married her husband and started a family one year later.

Shelley is survived by her husband, Ron Sparks; her four sons, Richard Sparks, Ryan Sparks (wife Becky), Shaun Sparks (wife Sarah), Colton Sparks (wife Sarah); twelve beloved grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her three siblings, Phillip Arlt, Sharon Knell, and Stephanie Arlt.

Shelley is preceded in death by her parents Waldemar and Thelma Arlt.
