Sherron Annette Curtis Coult returned to her heavenly home on July 24, 2026. Sherron was born December 7, 1948, to Herald Lero Curtis and Mary Emily Hunt Curtis in Salina, Utah.
Sherron grew up in Aurora, Utah. She loved playing outside with her brothers and sisters. She was proud to grow up in a small town.
She was very involved in 4H and served as the secretary. She competed in the cooking, sewing, and Home Beautification categories, winning many ribbons.
She graduated from North Sevier High School in 1967, where she played clarinet in the marching band.
She attended Sevier Valley Tech to study Commercial Art. She graduated in 1969.
After finishing school, she moved to Salt Lake City.
She met the love of her life, James Coult, in 1973 on a blind date set up by her sister. They were married January 19, 1974. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in 1978.
Sherron was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a Primary teacher for many years and served as a building head librarian.
Sherron was a hard worker and worked all her life. She worked at many jobs, including Salt Lake Blue, Becton Dickinson, Norbest, and Walmart.
She is survived by her husband James Coult, daughter Emily (Quinn) Snyder, stepdaughters Terry Black and LeeAnn (Brian) Beal. She is also survived by siblings, Juanna (Jim), Valene, Carol, Alan (Julie), and Marylee.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Lamoine, Ronald, Glade and Neal.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 30. A visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45. The service will be at 11:00 at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah.
Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery following the service.
