Shirley Irene Adams

Shirley Irene Adams, passed away on December 27, 2022 in Draper, Utah at the age of 87. She was born on April 21, 1935, in Arizona to Wesley Rufus Vickors and Ruby Moody. She married Joel Adams on April 5, 1953.
She loved old cars and going on Rod Runs. She made many baby crochet blankets. In her later years she loved to be with her Grandchildren and she loved her husband with all her heart. They were married for 69 years. They had 6 children together. They were very happy.
She is survived by her 4 children, Theresa Nelson, Evelyn Peck (David), Joel Adams, and George Adams. Along with many grandchildren, sisters and brothers. She also had many nieces and nephews and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Joel S. Adams, Dixie “Cookie” Adams, Peter Adams, her mother and father, and her brothers.
A friends and family gathering will be held on January 14, 2023 held at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary from 2 -3 PM. 10055 South State Street in Sandy, Utah. Graveside services will then follow immediately after at the same location.
