Sidney George Broussard III

“Trey” Sidney  George Broussard III, age 22, passed away on December 24th, 2023. He was brought into the world on November 18th, 2001 to Trina Francis Broussard (Massey) and Sidney George Broussard Jr.

He was a proud West High Graduate of 2020 and a former Paraprofessional at Meadowlark Elementary. Trey was a fisherman who loved the adventure of finding the new spot and much to the dismay of his siblings, held the family record of catching the largest bass at 5 lbs. He was a revered member of the “Pericos”, an indoor soccer league. He was also an avid gamer, playing games with his brothers such as ARK, Rocket League, Call of Duty, and Valorant. Trey also held the title of Fortnite Duos 2nd Place Champion with his brother Terrell, on top of being a tech-savvy PC builder. Trey was a notorious tormentor of his younger sisters, always misplacing things but never shied away from protecting them. He was willing to ride along wherever. You needed a partner, Trey was the first to hop into your passenger seat. He loved motorcycles, frequently riding his brother’s Honda Grom. He enjoyed helping his dad barbecue and often took a few samples here and there, just to test the product. In shorter terms, he was an extreme of a foodie. Trey was his mom’s biggest helper, if she needed anything, he’d hop right to it, albeit reluctantly at times. And his niece, Ira Rose, had him wrapped around her tiny, little finger - equally, he was her favorite person. Trey was a kind and understanding person, one with a heart of gold. Rain or shine, he was there, offering smiles and laughs to anyone and everyone. He was easy to relate to and always gave an ear if you needed it.

He is survived by his parents, Sidney and Trina Broussard, siblings, Trever (Karinna), Tyler (Allie), Terrell, Taya, Ruby, Selena, a niece, Ira Rose and grandparents, Gloria and Randy Clawson, together with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandparents - Raynette Broussard, Sidney George Broussard Sr., William “Billy” Lee Massey JR, Emma Palmer, Shirley “Mi-Mi” Barnum, William Lee Massey Sr, Esther Massey, Margie Hritz, Bill Clawson, June Clawson.

The funeral service will be held on January 6th, 2024. Viewing will be held from 12:00-1:30, and 1:30-2:00 (Family only). Service from 2:00-3:00 pm.
