Silvia "Chivis" Bahena Mota, devoted and loving mother.

Chivis especially will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her fiery spirit and her sparkle, that stayed with everyone she met.

Chivis was born on June 20th, 1989 in Morelos, Mexico and lived there until 1996. Chivis spent most of her childhood and early teenage years in Anaheim California, then relocated to Salt Lake City Utah, where she started her family and career. Chivis passed away unexpectedly on September 1st, 2026. Chivis is survived by her precious children, her parents and siblings.

Chivis was one the kindest, most giving people, worked incredibly hard, cared deeply for those around her, and always had a smile on her face. No matter what life brought her way, she had a way of making others feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Above all, Silvia was a devoted and loving mother. Her beautiful children were the center of her world, and she loved them with all her heart. The loss of such an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend is truly unimaginable. 

Chivis always dreamed big, she was a passionate nail tech, had recently received her Loan Officer License and took every opportunity possible to travel the States. She loved nature, specially the mountains and the beach. She had a unique way to show her creativity in everything she did. She touched so many lives in such a positive way that she will forever be remembered in our hearts.
