Obituary

Sofolonia Uluave Lokotui - October 25th, 2026

Our beautiful daughter, Sofolonia Uluave Lokotui, also known as "Baby Nia," was born October 25th, 2026 at 37 weeks gestation. She was our perfect little bundle of joy weighing in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 19 inches long.

She came into this world with soft dark brown, curls just like her "twin" big sister, Losaline, beautiful hands like her oldest sister, Luseane, and the same complexion as her older brother, Timote.

Baby Nia was deeply loved by her parents and siblings. And cherished by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all around the world. They all anticipated her arrival in just a few weeks, but Nia was already independent, motivated, full of joy, always on the go and obviously had better plans. Just like the powerful and sweet names she carries, Nia made her presence known in her own special way.

Nia was born sleeping. Although she left this world quietly and without fuss, she left a lasting impression on all those whom she left behind. Even in the short time she was here, Nia brought people together, helped heal hearts, and reminded everyone around her of what unconditional love, forgiveness, and peace truly mean.

Baby Nia will forever be loved and remembered as a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin who can never be replaced. We will long for her daily and work towards seeing her again. There will be a Celebration of Life where Family and friends are invited to come together to remember and celebrate our sweet angel, Baby Nia. The Celebration will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, located at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. The Burial will take place after the Celebration at 2:30 PM at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery.

Please join us as we honor and celebrate the short time she gave us.

Ofa lahi 'atu and Mahal na mahal ka namin. See you on the other side, your siblings can't wait to play! Your parents can't wait to kiss your face and hold you in our arms again. Until then, you will forever be our baby girl. Til we meet again! Love you mama!
