Steve Britton, 65, passed from this life on October 11, 2014 in a motorcycle accident in Nevada.
He was born on May 23, 1949 in Salt Lake City to Homer and Lois Britton. He graduated from South High School and attended the University of Utah. Steve worked for Kennecott for 18 years and most recently was employed by CDC Restoration. Steve loved his Scottie dogs, Westlie, Bailey, and Emma and enjoyed spending lots of time with them. Steve married Shauna Smith in 1971, later divorced. He married Deanne Heard in 1989. They spent 31 years together.
Steve is survived by his wife Deanne of Salt Lake City, three beautiful daughters, Heidi Wartena, Tami Dalrymple of Bend Oregon and Mandy Heard Caswell of Salt Lake City. He had seven wonderful grandchildren.
Friends and family are welcome to visit at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
