Steven Richard Hullinger

Steven passed away in his home in Taylorsville, Utah, on March 6th, 2023. Steven was born on August 28th, 1976, to Brent and Debbie Hullinger in Salt Lake City. Steven worked for Draper City for 13 years, where he took pride in servicing the citizens of Draper. He married Bridget Blatnick on February 27th, 2006, when he welcomed and loved their daughter Destriea and had two more beautiful daughters on August 10th, 2008, Brooklyn Cherise and Jenna Lee. Steven loved the outdoors. His favorite free time was spent with his daughters in the mountains. Whether they were camping, fishing, shooting, or just out riding four wheelers, he was in his happy place outdoors. If he could gather the rest of his family and friends for the trip, he turned it into a sort of celebration, where he would cook/smoke the most amazing foods. His passion was cooking and experimenting with new recipes. You could always count on amazing food if Steven cooked. Steven was, by definition, the nicest man you ever met, giving and never asking in return. To know him was to love him. Steven was a devoted father, beloved son, brother, and uncle.
Steven is survived in life by his precious daughters, Destriea, Brooklyn and Jenna, his parents Brent and Debbie, his brothers Brian(Fawn) and Chad(Tiffany) Nephew’s Chance and Nolan(Alianna) niece’s Morgan, Miah(Kai), Ryckelle, Haley and Kinzley.
He was proceeded in death by Grandfathers, Richard (Dick) Hullinger and William (Bill) Huff, a grandmother Gladlys Hullinger, Uncles, Richard (Paul) Hullinger, Gary Hullinger and Rick Hullinger.
A celebration of life will be held on March 17th, 2023, at the Midvale Community Center located at 7615 Park Street, Midvale, Utah, 84047 from 6:00PM-9:00PM. The family will be setting up a trust for his daughters with America First, in lieu of flowers please wait for an update on the trust information.
