Sue Anne Bettolo, 68, of West Jordan Utah quietly went to her eternal rest Friday January 2, 2026. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and nurse whose life was filled with a fervent devotion to her faith, her family and all other living creatures be they human or animal. Born in Rock Springs, Wyoming on October 10, 1957 to proud parents Joseph P. and Carol Anne Hensala Connors. Sue graduated with distinction from Rock Springs High School where she met her future husband before getting married in 1979. She moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University and eventually masterfully completing two degrees simultaneously from the University of Utah's School of Nursing with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude). She parlayed that education and singular love of others into a career as a nurse that spanned over 30 years and 4 hospitals. The role of her life, which brought her the most profound meaning was as a wife, a mother of four and grandmother of eight. Her infectious sense of humor, care and devotion was second to none. She was a shining light whose love of music and animals also gave her purpose and served as inspiration to all into whom she came into contact. Sue's spirit will be most missed by those who have survived her including her high school sweetheart Mark Bettolo, cherished children Joseph (with wife Devon), Renae (with longtime partner Justin), Kale (with wife Kate), Justin aka Fig, adored grandchildren Alexa, Eva, Sophie, Emma, Colton, Connor, Jackson and Joseph as well as her dearest siblings, Shauna (with husband Edward Dolence) and brother Michael Connors (with wife Ellen). Her nieces and nephews Keith, Kristi, Troy, Scott, Tanner, Tracie and Tyler. Preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents Oliver & Blanche Hensala.
