Su-Mei Lin, age 75, passed away on April 4, 2023 in Riverton, Utah. She was born on October 11, 1947 in Yunlin Taiwan to Ci Lin and Zhu-Chen Lin. She married Chung-Li Huang on September 6, 1971.
She loved her children very much and would do anything for them. She often worked long hours to make sure her children were taken care of. She wasn’t fortunate enough to get an education herself, so she ensured that her children all got a good education. She did love learning and was able to attend night school to complete a middle school education. While she worked, she found the need to teach herself to read so she could perform her work more efficiently. She loved making clothes for her children and made sure they were well dressed. She loved planting flowers and gardening, so much so that the neighbors complained about how many potted plants she kept in front of the house.
She is survived by a daughter, son in law, and two granddaughters, along with three brothers and one sister. She was preceded in death by two husbands and two sons, one brother, and one sister.
A viewing will be held for Su on Tuesday April 18, 2023 at the Mountain View location located at 3115 East 7800 South Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121. The viewing will begin at 6 to 8 PM.Service Information
