Sunny Nicolas Tang was born on October 14, 2025.
From the moment we found out about Sunny, our hearts overflowed with joy. Our daughter, Stormi, had been longing to become a big sister for over a year, and her excitement was contagious. Even before we knew whether he was a boy or a girl, we had already chosen the name Sunny.
Each and every day of the pregnancy was filled with love and anticipation. Stormi would shower her mommy’s belly with kisses, eagerly asking when her baby would arrive. She loved joining us for every prenatal appointment, helping the doctor find and listen to Sunny’s heartbeat. We were all counting down the days.
As the due date approached, Stormi grew used to saying Sunny’s name and asked every day, “When is my baby coming?” We would smile and answer, “In December.” We dreamed of holding Sunny, hearing his first cry, and cherishing every milestone to come.
Sunny was born, and he was everything we had imagined, pure perfection. Since his passing, our hearts have been broken as we grapple with the reality that life had other plans for our family. We are left with the pain of lost firsts and the weight of what could have been.
Yet in his brief time with us, Sunny left a permanent mark, touching the lives of everyone around him. He brought our family and friends closer than we have ever been before. He is a symbol of love, courage, and perseverance.
Sunny will always be in our hearts. For as long as we live, we will look to feel his love, his warmth, and his touch in every ray of sunshine.
