Susan L. Kooyman

Susan L. Kooyman passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 74 in Murray, Utah.  She was born on July 6, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John Henry Wakefield and Luella Daisy Coles Wakefield.
Susan married Donald Kooyman.
Susan’s hobbies and things she loved to do were knitting, dancing, and gardening.
Susan is survived by brother Larry (Carolyn) Wakefield; sister Jacklyn (Amos) Kaighn; sons Jay (Shauna) Dyksman, Robert Dyksman; daughter Susan (Chad) Perry; four grandsons, two great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.
She is preceded in death by father John Henry Wakefield; mother Luella Daisy Wakefield; brothers Ronnie, and Mike; sisters Connie and Joan; daughter-in-law Gina Dyksman.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 beginning at 1:30 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.  A viewing will be prior to services from 12:00 to 1:30 PM.
Interment following services at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
