If you are reading this, I will have passed through the veil on April 22, 2023. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 2, 1934 to William Phillips Robbins and Bernice Larsen Robbins. I grew up mainly in Salt Lake City and graduated from East High School in 1952. I attended BYU and married my childhood sweetheart and soul mate, Edwin John Kennedy in the Salt Lake Temple in 1954. We are parents of five sons, Todd (Lorraine), Jon (Sheryl), Christopher (Linda), Troy, Kyle “PK” and one loving daughter, Kandis Orchard (Steven), also one “borrowed” daughter, Debbie Groves (Lanie). I have 15 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren, and I am Granny-Great to 23 (and one due this September). I spent my final few years married to longtime family friend Lawnie Mayhew of Mesa, Arizona. I am survived by my four younger siblings. Patzie Havey, Michael (Sue) Robbins, Cherie (Jim) Brown, and Peter (Sheryl) Robbins.
The gospel is true! I have loved serving my Father in Heaven in many callings, but next to my family my mission to the Manhattan Temple and as a Salt Lake Temple worker were my greatest joys. I was also an active member of the DUP. Family, I love you and go to prepare a place for you with our Patriarch. Strive for excellence! Prepare well. Love you, Mom.
My funeral will be on Saturday, May 6th at 11:00 AM at the LDS church located at 6986 West McCuistion Ave, Herriman, UT 84096. Friends are welcome to come pay their respects one hour prior to the services.Service Information
