Taieni Tanaki Kula

Our beloved Taieni Tanaki Kula passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2025. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, on September 2, 1985, Taieni was a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose love and light touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Taieni had a rare and beautiful gift — she made everyone feel seen, heard, and deeply loved. Whether through her warm hugs, heartfelt conversations, or joyful laughter, she welcomed people in and made them feel at home. She took her role as an aunt to heart, helping raise her nieces and nephews as if they were her own, and cheering them on in every chapter of life.

Known for her quick wit, infectious laughter, and storytelling that could light up any room, Taieni was the kind of person who brought people together. Her stories weren’t just told — they were felt. She reminded us to cherish the small moments, to laugh often, and to always show up for one another.

Taieni’s love was constant and unconditional. She supported her family and friends wholeheartedly, meeting each of us exactly where we were and lifting us higher with her kindness and belief in us.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support — and a family and community who will miss her more than words can express.
