Taylor Quinn Heimdal

Taylor Quinn Heimdal, beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin and friend passed away on December 2, 2023. He was 30 years old.

He was born on August 12, 1993 to Quinn and Sharla Heimdal in Salt Lake City, Utah. He grew up in Taylorsville, attending Taylorsville High School. He was involved in the ROTC program there. He loved playing music and excelled at playing the bass guitar. He loved to ski and snowmobile and helped to build and care for a cabin the family owns. He liked to read and was a pretty good artist. He loved to be outdoors and loved sunrises & sunsets, always pointing them out. He loved to go hiking and summited many peaks, including The Grand Teton and King’s Peak. He was a “canyoneer” and loved exploring The Zion slot canyons. He was involved in Boy Scouting and earned his Eagle Scout and Order of the arrow. He was adventuresome and fun to be around.

He left us too soon and will be greatly missed! We are grateful, and comforted by the knowledge that he is with loved ones on the other side.

He is survived by his parents, brother Jonny Heimdal and sister Heather Heimdal, Grandmother Deanna Dickinson, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his Grandparents Drexel Dickinson, Stuart P. Heimdal, Martha Faye Heimdal.

We will miss his smile, curly hair, and the great friend he was to so many!

Funeral services will be held on December 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Park Ward Building located at 4986 South Valois Drive in Taylorsville, Utah.

Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing that will be held on Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church and again on Friday from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to services. Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
