Terrell Isom Bloxham passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, in Sandy, Utah, at the age of 91. He was born on December 30, 1934, in Arimo, Idaho, to Horace DeWayne and Florence Ann Tripp Bloxham.
Terrell and Emma met in Fresno California. After a short courtship, on June 25th, 1960 Terrell married the love of his life in the Los Angeles Temple. After having two children, Terrell decided it was time to seek an education, and they moved to Inkom, Idaho, where he earned a degree in Business at Idaho State University. Together they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage and built a life filled with love, faith, and devotion.
A man of deep and unwavering faith, Terrell served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia. His quiet strength and humble service defined his life. He was always ready to help others, often without recognition or fanfare. His gentle humor, kind heart, and steadfast presence blessed all who knew him.
Terrell found great joy in the outdoors, and his time living in the Uintah Basin was among the happiest of his life. He loved to share treats, tell stories (once properly persuaded), and provide unending support to family and friends alike. His laugh and sense of humor, his kindness, and his steady example will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Terrell was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emma Bloxham; his parents, Horace and Florence Bloxham; siblings Yvonne Bloxham, Levere Bloxham, Dee (Donna) Bloxham, Marjean Hanks, and Eloise (Evan) Olsen.
He is survived by his sister, Gala (Ron) Hoppins; brother-in-law, David Hanks; his devoted children, Dean (Kristy) Bloxham and Tami Bloxham (Tom Deis); his cherished grandchildren, Megan (Court) Pace, Reilly (Camille) Kelly-Bloxham, Caden Bloxham, and Tyson (Natalie) Bloxham; and four wonderful great-grandchildren, Cedar Pace, Tiago Pace, Remi Pace, and Duke Kelly.
Terrell’s passing marks the end of a beautiful earthly chapter and the beginning of a joyous heavenly reunion. We take great comfort in knowing Emma was surely waiting—with celebration and party hat in hand—to welcome him home.
A viewing will be held on January 29, 2026, from 9:30-10:30AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located on 2400 Alta Canyon Drive, Sandy, Utah 84093. The funeral services will follow directly after beginning at 11AM.
