Terry F. Leonard

“On August 24, 2023, at age 73, I lost my darling Terry F. Leonard. She was my guiding light, my best audience and my biggest fan. I am forever grateful to have had her in my life. She made me a better person in every way.” -Michael, her beloved.
To know Terry was to love her. She was the kindest soul and generous to her core. Terry devoted months every year to the Festival of Trees and crafted year round for them. She also served on the Festival of Trees’ Executive Board and Alumni for 40 years.
Terry worked for Mountain Bell/U.S West Communications for 32 years, and more recently for Lowe’s for 23 years as her retirement job.
Terry loved to laugh and share her happiness with everyone she met. She enjoyed going on cruises with her family, crafting, spoiling her grandkids and anything associated with ready whip or marshmallows!
Terry was the most amazing wife to Michael L Leonard for 47 years. She was an amazing mom to Tracy Auguste, Robert Delamare (Celeste), and Anthony Leonard (Dana). However, her favorite hobby by far was being the best Memah to all of her grandchildren; Sery, Gabrielle (Jesika), Samantha, Charlotte, Bailey and Isabel.
Her 9-year old granddaughter recently wrote a book titled, “Memah Loves Everyone”, and truer words have never been spoken. She adored her grandkids and they adored her just as much.
Terry is also survived by her siblings who brought her immense joy. Kim (Kaylynn), Sandy (Lynn), Pam (Kale), Brett (Amy), Trisha (Mike), Lisa, Sister-in-law Julie and her lifelong best friend Francine.
She was preceded in death by her brother Mike, brother-in-law Steve, and her infant daughter Mischa.
