Thomas Eugene Anderson

Thomas Eugene Anderson died Sunday April 2, 2023 at his home in Herriman Utah. He was born in his family home in Bemidji, Minnesota on September 30.1932 to his loving parents Glen Deniss Anderson and Nina Lamphier Anderson.
As a young man, he joined the US Navy. He served during the Korean war. He served 3 years, 3 months and 24 days aboard the USS Oak Hill. Tom spent the majority of his working years working for Centinela Valley High School District as the maintenance supervisor. While working there, he met and married the love of his life Shirley May Roberts on March 31, 1961.
Tom was a hardworking man, who was also very industrious. While working at the district he also ran a lawn care business for a period of time, then he began acquiring car washes and ended up owning and operating 2 of them. He was an awesome provider for his family. Tom was very active in his church and was blessed to serve 12 years in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Los Angeles Temple.
He is survived by his Wife Shirley, his four children David (Megan) Anderson, Raymond (Becky) Anderson Patricia (Zachary) Arnold, And Cheryl Anderson Porter. He is also Survived by 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held on Saturday April 8, 2023 at the LDS church at 5623 W Mirabella Dr, Herriman Utah, 84096. Viewing at 10:00, Funeral at 11:00. Interment will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 12PM at Camp Williams National Cemetery, 11711 South 1700 West, Bluffdale, Utah 84065.
