Thomas Neal Finch

Thomas Neal Finch, known as Tom, was born in Emmett, Idaho on February 21, 1956 to Glenn and Marilyn Finch. 

He grew up in a family of seven children. His favorite childhood activities were spending time on his grandparent’s farm and camping in the summertime. He moved to Utah where he met his wife Kathy and built a life with her and their two children, RaeNeel and Matt. 

Tom was a people-person, funny, sociable and creative. He was a tinkerer and a builder who could fix anything anyone brought him and an inventor of useful things. He loved traveling with his wife and spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors and his morning bike rides. 

He died on February 19, 2026.

 He is survived by his wife Kathy, his daughter RaeNeel (Nick) Odencrantz, his son Matt, and his grandchildren, Sam Lemon and Kira. He is also survived by his siblings Lynn Finch, Carol (Rod) Hyde, Margaret Hardman and Roger Finch.

 In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a living tribute of a tree be planted in his memory or a donation to your favorite charity be given. The family would also love to read your memories of Tom if you are able to share them.
