Thomas Odosio Martinez

Thomas Odosio Martinez age 86 passed away September 13, 2026, in West Valley City, Utah.

He was born March 17, 1940, in Park City Utah to Fidel E. Martinez and Margarita Trujillo Martinez. He was married to Gerrie S. Martinez on September 22, 1967, in Jackson Hole Wyoming. She proceeds him in death in 2008. He is survived by his daughter MaryAnn and Grandchildren Riley, Amelia, Gabrielle, and Sophia.

Thomas was a man of many talents; he was a successful business owner of Sentry Fence Company for over 20 years. He loved sports and exceled in all he did from bowling over 400 in a series to a hole in one on the Golf Course. He loved the outdoors; he was a meticulous craftsman. He was always eager to work and loved staying busy. He was an Optimistic, forgiving hardworking person and I am grateful to have learned that from him. Whatever my dad did he gave it his very best! He loved his cats Jingle and Bell with all his heart. He loved his parish St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and even started a Golf League there. He had many friends and he loved his family deeply and just loved life. He was our buddy and I will cherish all the fun-loving memories.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 Spring Lane, Holladay, Utah with an interment to follow at the Midway City Cemetery 600 West 500 South, Midway, Utah.
