Thomas Gordon Taylor

Thomas Gordon Taylor passed away at home on August 27, 2013 after an unexpected illness. He was born in Madison, Wisconsin on August 1, 1967 to Gordon Henry and Darlene Hogan Taylor.

Tom attended schools in Madison, WI before obtaining his mechanical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He obtained his master degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah. He started his work career at Medtronic in Grand Rapids, MI with stops at Cardiac Assist Technologies in Pittsburgh, PA, Biomedical Engineering Solutions, Sorenson Medical, Moog Medical, Larada Sciences all of Salt Lake City before his final position as Director of Service and Repair for Idaho Technology, Inc. which recently changed its name to BioFire Diagnostics.

Tom is survived by his mother, Darlene Taylor, Madison, WI; brother, Tim, Austin TX; sisters, Connie and Cathi, Sacramento, CA, Christi, (Dan), Green Lake WI,; nephew, T.J. Scholl (Heather) great-nephew/niece, Gage and Peyton, Fond du Lac, WI; nieces Stephanie Taylor-Fulton; Sacramento, CA and Whitney Taylor-Imura, LaFayette, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon; and his sister, Kim. Tom will be greatly missed by his family and his work family at BioFire.

Tom we love you and you have left a big void in our lives.
